Sidhu Moosewala Murder: Sharpshooter Harkamal Ranu Captured

Chandigarh: One of the sharpshooters, Harkamal Ranu, who supposedly killed Punjabi artist Shubhdeep Singh, prominently known as Sidhu Moosewala, was captured by the Punjab Police, authorities said on Friday. Ranu’s family, an occupant of Bhatinda town, guaranteed that they had given him over to the police.

As indicated by the police, Harkamal Ranu is one of the eight aggressors who captured Sidhu Moosewala or Shubhdeep Singh’s vehicle and shot him. Ranu, a famous sharpshooter, is an occupant of Punjab’s Bhatinda town.

In the mean time, a Red Corner Notice (RCN) has been given against Canada-based criminal Satinderjeet Singh nom de plume Goldy Brar needed in the killing of Moosewala. The Central Bureau of Investigation had on June 2 composed a solicitation letter to the Interpol to give a RCN against Goldy Brar. A senior CBI official expressed that after the issuance of RCN, the cycle to empower his removal to India will start. “The RCN has been given. The CBI contact official will organize with Interpol and a proposition will be traveled through the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) for removal,” he said.

Brar, a local of Sri Muktsar Sahib, had gone to Canada on an understudy visa in 2017 and he is a functioning individual from the Lawrence Bishnoi group.

Moosewala, who went out around 4.30 p.m. on May 29 alongside Gurwinder Singh (neighbor) and Gurpreet Singh (cousin), was shot dead by unidentified individuals in Mansa region. He was driving his Mahindra Thar vehicle.
